Optima Revision is proudly and independently owned and operated by Carmen Aprim, trained by world-renowned professionals in the SMP/PMU industry who is a master 4x certified Scalp Micropigmentation and microblading artist who specializes in hair loss and scarring revision. Carmen is passionate about her art and views each treatment as a live masterpiece. As a perfectionist by nature, she has a keen eye for design and a passion for enhancing natural beauty using subtle definition and custom artistry.  

Carmen was born and raised in London, United Kingdom, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Psychology from Brunel University London. Carmen has a proud Egyptian/Assyrian heritage and is bilingual in both Arabic and Aramaic languages and has been a California resident for the past 20 years. 

At a very young age, Carmen personally experienced the trauma of hair loss.  This traumatic experience led her to seek out and help others find a reliable hair replacement solution.  Carmen has helped hundreds of clients achieve their desired results and takes much pride in her work.

A background in fine art and detailed drawing, combined with Carmen’s entrepreneurial mindset and inner artist helped her enter a very unique profession. Carmen is now able to use her expertise as a skilled SMP/PMU artist to help restore the self-esteem and confidence in those individuals  suffering from alopecia, or any other condition that creates hair loss.

She takes her utmost time with each client to ensure the outline of their new hairline and brows are symmetrical and tailored to their unique facial structure, prior to beginning any treatment. Whether you are looking to create more density throughout your scalp, add definition, change or improve your hairline shape, redefine your eyebrows, or camouflage previous FUT/FUE scarring from a hair transplant.
