What is Microblading?
Microblading is an advanced artistic tattoo technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to carefully add semi-permanent pigment into the skin, replicating natural-looking hair strokes. A microblading artist hand draws each individual hair stroke to match the color and coarseness of your natural eyebrows. This gives a realistic look, it’s undetectable leaving you with stunning, lasting results.
The correct eyebrow shape will undoubtedly frame your face flawlessly, bringing out your natural beauty instantly. We will design an eyebrow shape using the art of the PHI GOLDEN RATIO mapping method. This shaping method will give your eyebrows the perfect symmetry shape best suited for your face and bone structure. You never want an eyebrow design to appear too long, short, curved, or flat since this can age you. Finally, we choose the perfect color for your eyebrows, applying it into the epidermis level of your skin at the right depth so it remains semi-permanently for 1-2.5 years before a touch-up is needed to enhance the overall shape and strokes.
Because microblading can be used for filling in extra hair strokes or creating an entire brow from scratch, the possibilities are virtually endless! Whether you have light, fine brow hairs that you want to accentuate to appear fuller, or your brows are very sparse and you want the appearance of more natural strokes, microblading may be the perfect answer for you! The 3D effect adds realism to the result, creating brows that look fuller, with real hair strokes, rather than a solid traditional tattooed eyebrow.
Why choose a Phibrows Artist?
Phibrows artists produce great work because they follow a very specific technique that is taught to them through a rigorous 6-month training course. This course requires the artist to pass 11 levels of mastery to ensure that their technique and their work maintain a very high standard… the Phibrows standard!
The Phibrows technique and tools have been meticulously designed and redesigned to aid their trained artists in producing very precise hair strokes, perfect symmetry, and a beautiful eyebrow shape that goes with the natural shape of their client’s face and bone structure.
Phibrows products have also been tested and redesigned again and again to ensure the highest quality, to avoid any dangerous heavy metals found in most permanent makeup pigments, and to provide color that stays and retains well. It is for these reasons and more, that if you want great results with your microblading treatment, it is highly recommended that you seek out a Phibrows artist. At Optima Revision, we are proud to be Phi Academy certified and look forward to helping you achieve the best most natural results possible.

What is the Microblading healing process?
Day 1:
Right after the procedure the pigment will appear darker in color with possibly slight redness immediately after the procedure.
This is normal and will subside within 24 hours.
Day 2 – 7:
The pigment color will appear darker as brows start to heal and will lightly scab over. Do not pick at the scabs as it will remove the pigment.
Day 8 – 14:
Brows should have healed externally and finished flaking, leaving you with a much lighter color. This is NORMAL, so please do not panic.
Day 20 – 30:
The implanted pigment will begin to resurface as your brows heal internally. This will bring back more color to your brows allowing us to see the final result of the initial treatment session.
Day 30 – 60:
During this time, your follow up session should take place to perfect your brows. Additional touch-up sessions may be required to achieve your desired look.
Never rub or scratch the treated area as it will disturb the skin from naturally healing.
Once completely healed (after 30 days) always apply a SPF 30 to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color of the pigment to fade away more quickly.
Please visit our Phi BoldBrows Aftercare guidelines to ensure best results.
How often will touch-ups be needed?
Do I need to come in with bare brows, with no makeup?
We will be taking before/after photos for our records and with your written consent we may use some photos for social media/advertisement. Either way, we will clean off your brow area before your procedure begins.
